Firmware is the "operating system" of the different parts of the scooter.

DRV firmware is responsible for the ESC and the driving performance of the vehicle.

DRV firmware is also known as ESC (Electronic Speed Control) or "Master Control" firmware.

DRV 1.5.1 was the seventh known version of DRV firmware update for the ESX series.

This version has the same changelog as Ninebot ESX DRV 1.5.0.

This version is also known for increasing the stability of the vehicle tremendously.

Throttle and brake curves are more smoothed out in this version with some feeling its too much or causes too much throttle lag.
