ESRollback

ESRollback is an early Android-only app for downgrading the firmware on Ninebot ES Scooters.

It was, for a time, the only app capable of downgrading Jump 3.0.x BMS files.

Downgrade

Though newer methods like Ninebot IAP or ScooterHacking Utility are often preferred for their ease of use, this method is still sometimes a foolproof way to downgrade.

• Place a battery with retail firmware on the ESC

• In ESRollback, load up a previous version of the firmware and press next until you get to the button that says "Flash" but don't press it.

• Quickly remove the battery and replace it with the version that needs to be downgraded

• Once you're sure it is connected, press flash

• Confirm the version has successfully downgraded in Ninebot IAP.
