The SNSC 1.0 is a budget scooter made by Ninebot.

It is the rental version, most similar to the Ninebot ESX series.

The 250W versions were similar to the Ninebot ES1 or, if it had an external battery as most did, the Ninebot ES3.

For the 300W models, their equivalents were the Ninebot ES2, and Ninebot ES4.

The Ninebot SNSC 1.0 via Segway[1].

These models did not fold but were otherwise compatible with most ESX hardware.

Some of these models included the RGB deck lights/underglow LEDs but many later units did not.

Notes on Bird ES4-800

This model was used exclusively for rental use.

Bird did sell off their overstock of SNSC 1.0 vehicles at stores such as Walmart, Best Buy, Sam's Club, etc...

Because of this, there are some listings for it under the model names:

  • Bird ES1-300
  • Bird ES1-300RN (Renewed)
  • Bird ES4-800
  • Bird ES4-800RN (Renewed)

The only difference is that the ES1-300 did not include an external battery.

Other than that these models are part-for-part compatible with other SNSC 1.0 and ESX series scooters from Segway.

The "Bird ES4-800", which was similar to the ES3.

Modding

This model has custom firmware support from ScooterHacking.

The Custom Firmware Generator can be found here.

ScooterHacking's SHFW also supports this model.
