Cause

Error code 07E indicates a problem with the motor's hall sensors. The hall sensors are essential for providing feedback to the ECU about the motor's position. A fault in the hall sensors can be caused by:

  • Poor contact: The wires connecting the hall sensors to the motor or the ECU might be loose or have poor contact.
  • Damaged wires: The hall sensor wires might be broken, frayed, or corroded.
  • Faulty hall sensors: One or more of the hall sensors themselves could be malfunctioning.

Fix

  • Check wiring connections: Inspect the wires connecting the hall sensors to the motor and the ECU. Make sure the connections are secure and there's no damage to the wires.
  • Clean or replace connectors: If the connections are loose or corroded, clean them or replace the connectors.
  • Replace hall sensors: If the wiring is in good condition, the hall sensors themselves might be faulty. They may need to be replaced.
