Previous Error Code: Okai Error Code 05E - Next Error Code: Okai Error Code 07E

Cause

Error code 06E indicates that the lower MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) in the ECU has failed. This could be due to:

  • Overheating: The MOSFET might have overheated due to excessive current or a faulty cooling system.
  • Electrical damage: A sudden surge in voltage or a short circuit could damage the MOSFET.
  • Manufacturing defect: The MOSFET might have been faulty from the factory.

This error can also be caused by communication errors between the CCU & ECU.

Fix

  • Replace the ECU: Since the MOSFET is part of the ECU, the entire unit needs to be replaced. There's no way to repair a damaged MOSFET in the ECU.
