Cause

Error code 18E indicates that the throttle sensor is not detecting the throttle in its initial position during the self-test. This could be due to:

• Short circuit: The throttle signal wire or the power wire might be shorted to ground or to each other, causing incorrect readings.
• Damaged throttle sensor: The throttle sensor itself might be faulty or out of calibration.
• Incorrect throttle position: The throttle might be physically stuck in a position other than its intended starting point.

Fix

• Turn the throttle to original position.
• Check if the connections are loose.
