Ninebot IAP (Also known as just IAP) is a Windows app by the ScooterHacking (SH) team.
It can be used to configure supported scooters and flash new/custom firmware to them.
Ninebot IAP is the name of a flashing software that was supposed to be used by scooter rental companies. In early 2019, the ScooterHacking team got hold of the software and its code and started working on a version for public release. Ninebot IAP allows you to modify your scooter at will using the UART and BLE interfaces, thus removing the need of a ST-Link in a vast majority of the cases.

IAP should only be downloaded from its official link at https://iap.scooterhacking.org/get.

According to its developers, Utility can run on any Android device running Android 5.0 or above (minSDK 21).
Firmware Support
IAP can flash firmware to vehicles that don't have firmware updates with downgrade protection.
This includes the following:
- Ninebot Max DRV Version < 1.7.0 (1.7.0 can be downgraded with an extra step).
- Ninebot ESX All Versions
