Cause

Error code 13E indicates that the ECU cannot communicate with the Battery Management System (BMS). This could be caused by:

• Loose connection: The wiring connecting the BMS to the ECU might be loose or disconnected.
• Damaged connector: The connector between the BMS and the ECU might be damaged or corroded.
• Faulty wiring: The wiring connecting the BMS could be damaged or broken.
• Faulty BMS: The BMS itself might be malfunctioning.
• Faulty Battery: The battery might have a problem that is preventing the BMS from working correctly.

Fix

• Check BMS connection: Inspect the wiring connecting the BMS to the ECU. Make sure all connections are secure and there is no damage to the wires.
• Clean or replace connectors: If the connectors are corroded or damaged, clean them or replace them.
• Replace BMS: If the wiring is in good condition, the BMS itself might be faulty and need replacement.
• Replace battery: If replacing the BMS doesn't solve the problem, the battery itself might have a problem. Consider replacing the battery.
